Hello all,
I've applied for R4 Sept 2019 intake. Three days ago, I received feedback from INSEAD that they'd like me to reapply with a better GMAT score, and that other aspects of my profile have potential. They say that I shouldn't see the result as a rejection but an encouragement. The email sounded very sincere and I'm definitely reapplying.
Has anyone experienced or heard of this type of feedback? What do you guys think?
P.S. my GMAT score on first attempt is 610. I had re-taken GMAT right before the R4 deadline, however my score was even lower than this.

Hi wagic,
I'm sorry you couldn't make it this time, but INSEAD is right. You should see their feedback very positively, and re-apply with a higher GMAT score.
When INSEAD sees potential in someone's profile but the GMAT score is considered too low, they either put the application on hold until the applicant increases the score, or they give similar feedback to the one you received.
In either case, it is definitely a good sign.
