FYI, I did submit for R3 and got an email yesterday saying that my application is now complete. But, no word on the interview yet.

The decision should be mailed on march 18th. How will they release the decisions with only a few weeks to do the interview, send the report and take the decision?

I guess there's some delay. According to the admission blog (posted January 2009), it should have been already out. OR some of us didn't get invited. :( Here is the link.

I hope the decision comes before April. I applied looking the deadlines so that I could receive all the decisions before I have to choose which one to attend. It would be awful to reach the deposit deadline without knowing the Haas decision.

llest, R2 decisions will be out 3/18 as listed. Haas has always been able to get almost all of the decisions out while interviewing most people 10 days before the deadline (super saturdays are generally 10 days before R1 and R2 deadlines). Don't worry, unless something extraordinary happens to your file, you should get a decision 3/18.

I heard from a couple other schools that R2/R3 application volumes were down. Any idea if this is true for Haas?

I remember this question was asked in R1 waitlist chat.
Adcom replied that they did hear that some schools have reported low R2 volumes but that wasn't the case at Haas.
I couldn't find a link to that chat transcript. This is just what i remember from the top of my head of that two week old chat....
Perhaps Kryzak can throw more light on this.

if i recall correctly at SS, they said apps were up for r2, but not nearly as high as folks thought it would be (ie ~20%). they didn't have any solid numbers to report.
