The calls are made on the decision day for the EWMBA program, at least that was how it was for R1. I'm a waitlisted R1 candidate, waiting for my decision tomorrow morning. Also, the results email was mailed out last time at 11:18 AM PST.

Does Haas contact your recommender for any information? Has anyone 3rd RD applicant heard about it? I asked my recommenders if they had heard anything from Haas, and they said no. So I was wondering if they do or not contact the recommenders, might be an indication of whether to expect a call or not?

R4 here, have only received the "your application has been printed and is under review.... email" which I got a few days back. I honestly, don't expect to hear anything for another few weeks given the timeline that Haas has stated but congrats justniky..It's an honor to just be interviewed when applying so late in my opinion. Answer: It is not normal procedure for the Admissions Committee to contact each individual that wrote a letter of recommendation for a prospective Haas student. That is not to say that it never happens, but it doesn't happen often.
