Hey guys

I just joined the admissions chat, was the only one with the moderator! I asked questions about R2 interview invites specifically because I am one of those who are desperately waiting for it :S

So they said the usual stuff:
- interview invites will come out until March 3rd
- some applicants, who have not been interviewed, will be placed under waitlist and be given a chance to interview
- reason for waitlist is because applicant wasn't as strong as others, but admission officers are interested and want to know more about them

Well, let's just wait a few more days and hope for a waitlist at best....

Did any R2 applicant receive an interview invite over the past week or so?

Not that I've seen or heard... From what I've read, admissions will take another look at the R1 WL's after all of the R2 decisions have been made. So, I guess we'll have to sit tight until after March 3rd. :?

Just curious, did you submit any new materials?

I think the second Days of Haas weekend will be April 22nd. Both the sets are mentioned on the Admitted student website.

per the admit site, the second Days at Haas is April 28-30. maybe they shifted it out another week?

No they won't, especially Round 4 (not Round 3). Your chances for R4 are already extremely low, especially with Haas' 4 round structure...However, it can't hurt to call ADCOM and ask directly.

I was in a similar situation with the round 2 deadline. Submitted all of my other application materials by the deadline but my GMAT score around 10 days after, and was still put into round 2. If I were you I would phone up and check but based on my experiences you should be ok.

Any other acceptances for round 2?Also does anybody know if they phone you if you are rejected, or do they just update your status online?

Hi,

Has Haas started sending out Round 3 interview invites?
Round 3 Decision Date is 4/21/2011.
Typically, when do the interview invites start going out if they haven't already?

Hmm interesting and good to know! i did email the admissions office and they said they cannot guarantee that anything submitted will be accepted.
