hi all

I just did my interview today with an alumni in London. I'm a WL candidate from R2.

I felt that went very well, the interviewer was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. It lasted an hour with time for me to ask questions.

Here are questions I was asked:
- go through your resume
- why MBA? (I explained my career goals here to get the why MBA)
- why Haas?
- what makes a good leader?
- describe a leadership experience
- describe a teamwork experience
- anything you would like to add/let me know about?
- any questions for me?

Also, just to share my waitlist strategy for those in the same boat:
- adding two reco to my file (one from a peer who graduated from Haas and one from a business partner)
- just did the interview
- will send in the next few days two personal statements to restate why Haas (because I think I didn't do a very good job on this in y essays) and one to update them with new extra curricular activity showing leadership

finally, crossing fingers :)

No, I'm from Boston. I visited Haas once already last year. Does anyone have an opinion on whether it looks bad if I don't do an on campus interview? I'm running out of vacation time from work....

I'm in San Diego and I didn't get penalized too much for choosing off-campus rather than a 90 minute flight to the Bay Area. Go with what works best for you.

as long as you can talk vividly to the experiences with haas and why you loved your experience. That deffenitly helped me.

Hi all. I am a R1 waitlister. I spoke with the admissions office yesterday and they gave me a (somewhat) helpful update so I thought I would post here in case others are wondering the same thing.

AdCom has begun the the process of looking at R1 waitlisters. (R2 waitlisters will not be looked at until after the R3 decisions are made). A decision will be made for all R1 waitlisters by the end of March, either we will be removed from waitlist, kept on waitlist, or admitted. They will email that decision to us before April -- so at the very least we should hear contact from AdCom this month. I asked but they said they could not release how many people are on the R1 waitlist.

Regarding supplemental materials, at the end of February I submitted two additional letters of recommendation, a new personal statement, and confirmation of my enrollment in a calculus course. My background: female, 710, 3.6 GPA from Ivy, 5 yrs we, non-traditional background in nonprofit sector, now own independent consulting business in np industry. What kind of supplemental materials did others submit?

Dings will most likely get an email on notification day telling them to check their updated status. As far as I know all R1 admits got phone calls a day or two before the notification date, so if you don't get a phone call your status will change to ding or WL.

Hi, I am applying to EWMBA and have quick Q. The career sections asks for a sepereate record for each position held in the company... does that mean I have to specify the dates for each promotion etc etc. that is just too much of detaill... Any thoughts guys...
