Well, one more spot is about to open up for one of you WLers or R3 applicants--I just emailed AdCom to let them know I'm declining my R1 Haas offer to go to HBS. It was a tough decision because of how much I liked Haas and all the people I met there, but I couldn't see myself turning down HBS. I wanted to let Haas know as soon as possible so my spot (and scholarship money) could be made available for someone else as soon as possible.
Good luck to all of you still waiting for good news from Haas.
On the waitlist for R2 EWMBA. Have a month to submit supplementary material and supposed to hear back by end of May.
I know this isn't posted anywhere, but does anyone know stats on the EWMBA waitlist. I know I've heard some numbers from the full-time program, but not EWMBA. Thanks!

I'm not sure that those stats are published for the EWMBA program.
Business week provides only the following data:

Total applications, most recent entering class: 678 Applications accepted, most recent entering class: 42 % Admitted students enrolled: 84 % Applicant interviews are: By invitation only
I had my interview last week on campus. It was suprisingly tough. I received the typical questions on walk me through your why mba, why now, why haas, etc. Additionally, there were very specific questions on my leadership style, what defining principle of haas I've displayed and how, etc.
Crossing my fingers now. Hopefully the interview was more about fit and only one of several criterias for the April 21st decision.

Sounds pretty standard--my offcampus alum interview covered those exact same things. Several behavioral and situational questions and one about the "question the status quo" principle.

Yes - standard questions but I guess what suprised me was how deep they poked at the leadership questions. They really dug deep into understanding that and questioned some of my answers. I see you interviewed but were declined - any idea as to why?
Yeah I got a decent amount of probing on my leadership questions too, so they weren't picking on you.
I was admitted to Haas R1 but turned it down in favor of my R2 admit to HBS. Tough decision because I really liked Haas and everyone I met there, but I couldn't pass on HBS.
My status didn't change after the interview from what I remember--if you're really worried as to whether your interviewer submitted his/her report, you could email the interview coordinator (Pam, I think?) and ask her if they received it. Or just ask your interviewer in a polite way. When I emailed Pam she replied that my status would probably remain the same until the decision date.

emont, did Haas adcom called you before the decision date to talk about some info. of your application (such as what industry are u in, or will u finance yourself for the education?)and the scholarship thing? or they informed you directly on the decision date? how do you apply for the scholarship? Many thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure I understand your question--my application, essays, and interview made it pretty easy for them to tell what my background is, and they don't factor the financing piece into admissions. Admission is need-blind for every school I know of. They made admit notification calls a day or two prior to the "official" notification date, and I was informed of my partial scholarship at that time. It didn't require any additional applications, but I know of at least one other admit who later applied for (and received) a scholarship geared towards people who had overcome significant obstacles or disabilities.
It changed from invite for interview to the one below: Application Status: Application Under Review
Status Description Your application for admission to the Berkeley Full-time MBA program is under review by the Admissions Committee.
