(full time program)

- when do the R3 interview invites usually die down? or have they already died down?

- what percentage of the class do they fill by R2? what percentage is left to be filled in R3?

Don't worry! Theoretically, you could get your invite only a few days before decision date. Practically, I got mine pretty late and then
was admitted.

As far as I know, there are no public stats on what percentage of the class is filled in specific rounds. However, Adcom states: "Do note, however, that we make most of our offers of admission from Rounds 1, 2, and 3. Only a small number of Round 4 applicants are offered admission each year." So, although chances in Round 1 and 2 are probably better, there is still a fair chance for applicants in Round 3!

Good luck everybody!

I'm an R3 applicant - had my off campus interview on Friday with an alum. Does anyone know if I should expect a decision prior to the April 21st Round 3 decisions date? Are they handing out decisions earlier in previous rounds? I've got a deadline from another offer on April 20th, and just trying to figure out what my schedule may look like...

Thanks!

If you're admitted, you could get a call a few days before the deadline. But if you're waitlisted or rejected, it will be an email on the day, not before.
Good luck!

I think in the grand scheme of things, the deposit usually comes out to less than 1% u'll be spending in the next two years. Many people I know who are waiting on a WL or a later decision tend to just commit to the 1st offer (as long it is a school u know u will still be happy with)

I got the R1 admit call two days before the notification date and several other calls went out that day and the following day. R2 called started rolling out a week or so early because they wanted to give some R2s the opportunity to attend the R1 Days at Haas if that date worked out better for them.

So if you are admitted, I'd say there's a pretty good chance of you getting a call on April 19 or 20, though they could easily go earlier than that if they wanted to give people more time to make plans for the April 28-30 D@H weekend. There's really no way to tell until you hear something from the admissions office about their timeline--anything else would just be speculation.

Just got in! (i think) Just got a call from the Director of Admissions -- actually a voice message. I am traveling internationally on business, and her call came in wee hours of the morning local time. The message said "I'm calling with good news". I have still have to call back, but have to wait till it is business hours in Berkeley.

rg205, Thanks for sharing your stats. Once again, congrats on the admit. I am a R3 applicant to the EWMBA program (I had previously applied in R2 to the full time program and was waitlisted).

I submitted R3 application for EWMBA on the due date (March 14), and got an interview invite the following day. Surprised to hear a response so quickly.

Congrats Baron! Could you share your stats (WE, title, GMAT, sector, etc)?

Thanks sidz306

Hey, everybody,
I am a R3 applicant. I wonder if I should mail my transcripts and degree certificate to the campus or I carry them to the interview?

Thanks a lot!

The admissions office told me that they would prefer that I mail the documents in, rather than present it to the alum at the interview. So, I'd suggest you mail them in.
