Hey there--I'm a long-time lurker.

I was waitlisted today too: 690 GMAT/3.7 undergrad from top public/4.5 WE in media and nonprofit/strong ecs. Weird that everyone waitlisted seems pretty competitive. I was definitely disappointed because I felt like I had a fairly solid interview, as well. Sigh...
For context: Applied 12/12; Interview Invite 1/7; Interview 1/29; Waitlist 2/23.

I was WL a few weeks ago. I think most of us will hear back soon. I get the feeling that after they have an idea of how many accepts they will have (from their deposits which are due tomorrow) we will begin to hear back.

Makes sense. I emailed to remain on the waitlist and include a recent promotion and both the admissions rep I was directed to and the general application email had out-of-offices.

Not WL yet... I interviewed exactly a week ago, but haven't gone "Complete" yet. Not sure if it's because interviewer hasn't submitted yet, or if adcom is still processing submission. Should I email the interviewer to make sure she sent it, or call the adcom to see if they received it? Or maybe sit tight for a few days?

jerry, it took me more than two weeks to go 'interview complete' from my actual date of interview. If your application hasn't gone 'interview complete', it most likely is a case of your interviewer not having provided his/her feedback to the school yet. I actually called the school exactly two weeks after my interview and that's what i was told. They told me not to worry because these little delays happen all the time, and in the end, I got admitted! Interviewers are busy professionals and they often get crushed with work!

Did anyone else apply in or around 12/31 and still waiting? My application went under review the first week of January. I'm gonna keep on keeping on until I hear but wondering if anyone else is still in the same boat?

well since they will notify you right away if it's a ding they must still be considering you or haven't looked at your app yet, either way no ding is a good sign no matter how long you wait.

I strongly doubt that. Giving someone <1 week deposit makes no sense. I'm certain Columbia has a couple of major deposit deadlines. Why are you worrying about that now? You will find out in due time.
