If they've made decisions they will not wait to let you know. I spoke to a member of the adcom recently and they said they provide decisions as soon as they have them.

I hope the class is not full!!

what do you mean by the r2 deadline? columbia has rolling admissions right and I thought you could apply till april or something

yes, that's true. i don't understand why 2 guys wrote theyhave applied just befor the R2 deadline...

i applied on january the 17th. do u think it can be considered a bit late?

they mean "rd 2" as before 1/5 since that is the date you must have applied by for fellowship consideration, i believe CBS said they receive 85-90% of their apps before this date so theres still of chance if u submit after but i guess it can be comparable to a 3rd rd at another school, a bit late yes but possible

damn i almost have the same "initial" profile as you (except my GMAT is higher but my GPA is lower)... I'm also a CFA level 3 candidate... taking it this june.

i submitted on 1/5. Under review on 1/21. haven't heard since... still waiting.

Not WL yet... I interviewed exactly a week ago, but haven't gone "Complete" yet. Not sure if it's because interviewer hasn't submitted yet, or if adcom is still processing submission. Should I email the interviewer to make sure she sent it, or call the adcom to see if they received it? Or maybe sit tight for a few days?

I finished my interview on Feb 8th, and it took 9 days for my file to become "complete". I don't think it was because of delay by the interviewer since my interviewer said he would submit his report right away. My guess is the ad com takes time to receive the interviewer's report and then change the applicant's status in the database.

I recommend sitting tight for a few more days.

is there a direct or indirect way to get some feedback regarding a negative decision on one's application? areas of improvement kinda thing? anyone heard of such a thing? ever? i mean something beyond calling admissions and telling a hilariously dirty joke to get some admissions' chick talking?

Aghhh.. seems like everything we've heard lately has been a "ding"... where are the invites?

I need to get some dental surgery sometime soon, but don't want to schedule it now for fear I will get an invite and then end up showing up to my interview with an enormous, grotesque swollen jaw! lol
