Thanks guys, this is a really awesome thread we have going here. Hope to see a lot of CBS acceptances here in the next few weeks.
And wow, my application went from "Submitted" to "Under Review" in less than 24 hrs.

We can stand like idiots by the main door of the room after the info session.
OR
I can meet you guys at either of the places that fatb mentioned above after the info session.

Alright, I don't know either place fatb suggested. So how about I stand around like an idiot at the door before or after the session? If the session drags on for too long however, I might need to slip away because I have to get back to the 'burbs.

I'll be the Indian guy in the blue jacket and the blue checkered shirt. Very short hair. Anyone else going there, please feel free to come up and say hello.

I don't think Kroll will go that in-depth into your background. Verification of your work history and criminal background (and your handle sure makes it sound like you've got some serious felonies on your rap sheet) is the norm.

I've seen some checks take just a few days, so I doubt they are going into student clubs and ECs.

I finally submitted my application to columbia today. Irrespective of the outcome, I am glad that I am done with this ordeal. I have found GMATCLUB extremely helpful not only for my gmat prep but also during the whole application process. Reading the posts here was always a morale booster and Knowing that I was not alone in this grueling process was a huge consolation.

Thanks to everyone for the support and all the best with your application.
Btw I might be attending the event at columbia tomorrow. Would love to meet you guys over there.

Will be there. Surprising how much stuff I had to move around to fit it in my schedule. Everything seems to always want to happen on the same day.
