Dumb question time:

Does everything on the application checklist have to be "complete" for the application to be considered for the first round?

Currently, I have recommendations as not received and test scores as unverified. But I over night-ed the reco's and they were signed for day before the deadline and I purchased an additional test report back in September.

Yeah, I spent half the day yesterday filling stuff out, wasn't too bad. I actually had to self-report a transcript for Cornell since they don't take scanned ones like the other schools I'm applying to. That took quite awhile to complete.

For those planning on applying for the Park fellows program, do they e-mail you the additional essay after you submit your app?

I like how they tease you on the applcation status...

It says...

Deposit Fee Received No
Deposit Deadline 18 Jan 2008



Makes it look like they're waiting for my fee depsoit. lol

quick update for you guys -

log in everyday to check your application status. my recommendations were posted online, and for 3 weeks it showed that they were complete.

Now I saw that my status changed to incomplete coz Cornell had a technical error with their system and while downloading the letters, they only received half of the letter from my recommender.

While this does not push my application from R1 to R2, make sure that any of u guys who submitted dont have this issue.

Also does anybody know when the interview invites come out? Rhyme - can you shed some light on this. The Cornell site is quite vague about it, only talking about the final notification date being Dec 3.

Even though I got a confirmation email from Pearson conforming my GMAT test scores were sent to cornell FT MBA ...
the status shows that my score reports are incomplete/not waived.

It might be because of the incomplete TOEFL scores; before submitting the app. when I had called the adm. off. to ask about the waiver, they said it is automatically waived if you studied from a univ. here., and that I am not required to do anything.

Was jut curious to know what other ppl. are seeing for the test scores ?

They won't say received until the adcomm actively goes and searches for your score.


BTW, does Pearson also send your picture to the schools? That would be a good bit of info for new test takers.

Hey guys, I just decided I am going to join the R2 group. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find more info about Cornell? I will not be able to make a visit to campus before visiting, and want to make sure I get a good feel for the school before applying. Any recommendations outside of the school's website?

Hey all, is anyone applying to the accelerated program? How's that programs' placement/recruitment for job opportunities? Is it comparable to the 2 year program?
