I'll be applying for 2008 and here is some basic profile info: Age: 23 GMAT: 690 GPA: 3.66 overall, 2.7 first year of college and 3.92 the other three years at a different school, top 2% of class at state school WE: 3 years IT, 1 year management consulting to federal government (both roles have good leadership for my age) Extras: AARP Tax-Aide Program (Certified with Federal and State for filing taxes)

My status is still set to Interview Scheduled. I had my interview last Tuesday. Is this supposed to be the latest status before you get an Accept/Ding?

i got waitlisted. now what?

Try to get feedback to see what you need to improve. Hopefully its something you can do something about like upping your GMAT 30pts or taking a calculus class. Make sure you pass along any info that improves your application like a promotion.

And then...you wait...and hope that their yield doesn't meet their goal so there is room for people off the waitlist. Remember a WL is a good sign in a lot of ways, it means you were right there. Take that knowledge and get to work on making your R2 applications better than your R1...improve your execution just a little bit.

Reading the BW forum...whats the deal with their online system. People over there sound like they want to lynch the adcoms. Seems like system shut down and one person called and they said hopefully it will be working this afternoon but if not it would be up Monday.

Phone calls to admits will most likely continue...just wont be able to find out dings or WL.

It's a tough year for applicants; and as such, getting off the waitlist will prob be just as hard.

i feel the same way. but i'm probably going to take a statistics course regardless to give my application a little oomph. i suspect the adcom may have questioned my quantitative skills - esp since i plan to concentrate in supply chain management. maybe taking the course will tip the scale, who knows? it won't hurt to try. and if i end up getting dinged anyway, i'll have no regrets.

and oh yeah...cornell's system is whack. my application status is now "not submitted" when just 2 hours a go, it was "waitlist". wth is going on?

Thats whats being talked about on BW...except some people never saw what the status was so they dont know if they are ding/wl/accepted

Has anyone else recieved the automated FedEx email letting them know their Johnson admit package is on it's way? I was getting worried about all of these website issues until I recieved that. Even though I am yet to recieve a call or email directly from Johnson I guess I am in!
