In 400 words?

That's really amazing. I could only do high school graduation through my first-year of an MBA, with the appropriate Preface and Epilogue however.

I did birth through retirement.

I did brief *clever* chapter titles and 1-2 sentence chapter briefs. Since this is a new type of question, there is no right or wrong way....my strategy was to rely heavily on eye-catching chapter titles.

I did Birth/high school/college (Chapter 1) until Retirement. About 8 chapters with two sentences describing each one. I actually called the office on this and the response was: "Do whatever you want, we have no preconceived expectations"

The 400 word limit was very tough for me here...

the tuesday/thursday thing was just a guess, but it seems to be panning out.

I didn't visit before I applied, but I'm going for a class visit this weekend and would go back for an interview if offered one. Any advice on dress code for the class visit? I'm not sure if I should go casualish but nice: Jeans, collared shirt, maybe a sport coat. Business casual or full on suit. I'm thinking not suit unless I interview, so really it's between the other two.

I'm a little concerned about the idea of "why is Johnson a better fit" I have some ideas of what I'd say, but I'm not sure how I'd handle this based on it being a good fit but not the best fit, in my opinion.

Wow.. You guys certainly fit a lot into 400 words.

Time to tear up my first draft. I was at 600 and I hadn't even finished talking about what I've done so far.

My first thought was to talk about birth through now, but I think I will talk a little bit about ST/LT goals in it also. Not sure how to address the overlap.

Good luck to all you guys waiting for the interview invite! I'll be here either after R1/R2. Not sure if I'll be able to finish off the essays by Nov 17th.

This was actually my favorite interview because it really was conversational. I walked away from it feeling like she really knows me now and vice versa.

Congrats! Sounds like your interview went really well!

Just got the interview invite today. The problem is that I will be unable to make it to Ithaca for two weeks and I live only one hour away. Does anyone know how soon they expect you to schedule? Is two weeks bad?
