Is anybody else having difficulties accessing the Cornell application? I'm trying to upload my essays but I keep on running into technical issues when I type in my user ID and password.

elvispresley, I too faced issue in logging in. I logged an issue with Technical Support and they could resolve it in a day.

I needed some help with this question in the Cornell application-

International Students Only (Not US Citizens or Permanent Residents): We require documentation of liquid assets for the visa process. If offered admission to the Johnson School, can you or a sponsor(s) provide asset documentation for $135,000 USD ( Two-Year MBA) or $103,000 USD (Accelerated MBA) ? yes or no

If I plan to take loan or want to be considered for the scholarships, would there be any implication of the answer of the above question. Also, if I specify 'NO', would there be any impact on my admission consideration.

Proof of liquid assets is required to obtain a student visa from a US embassy. Total value of savings, investments, loans from banks/friends/parents/sponsors/etc need to cover $135k. If your answer is truly a "no", you will need to carefully think about how you plan on funding your education overseas.

Mega - mine turned complete about a week after my interview as well. Just assumed that meant the person who interviewed finished the write up, and it got into the system... (fingers crossed here too).

Now that the R2 deadline is past, is it safe to say that all R1 interview invitations have probably been sent out already?

so just to get my timlines correct...

submission to "under review" -- roughly 1 week and "under review" to interview invite (if d0) - 3 to 4 weeks

does that sound right?

Same here. Mine went under review on the 28th Oct and still no further communication. Should we contact them and ask about the status ?

Achint, if your online application status is under review and the adcom has all the required docs then I don't think it would be required, but it is also fine to contact them if you want an update. I would wait for some more time before contacting the adcom.

Could pls share your profile. Mine is IT - male - 5yrs w-ex (by next aug.)
