Hi
I am filling the data boxes for Cornell 2 year MBA program. I noticed that there are no boxes for community involvement or awards. Am I missing something here or Cornell does not ask for those things.Please answer

hmm...I think I may have screwed it up a bit....

Taking my GMAT tomorrow (already have 2 previous scores) and I realized Cornell required "official" score from ETS on the application deadline and it does not look like Cornell will receive offiical score on 11/12 (I am applying r2).

If I submit my application on 11/12 but does not have an offiical score, does that mean I am automatically defered until round 3?

I might have to call someone up at Johnson.....

You might be saved. Once applications are submitted application committee check whether all documents are received or not, and update the status to complete. The selection of application for this activity doesnt follow any pattern, so there might be chances that your turn may come after 2 days of deadline or 2 weeks or more. I submitted my application on 6th oct but application committee took my application from pile of applications on 27th Oct and then changed the status to complete. So if ur official score will b available to school by 22nd that will also work , if u r not unlucky and be the first one to be picked post deadline

Please share your experience with me. like How was the interview wat all questons did he ask and did he make you feel comfortable or was putting some odd balls.

I was told by the assistant dir of admissions that you can enter the score on the application and it would be fine if the official report comes later.

Hey guys, just wanted to ask you if anybody whose application went under review on the 27th of October or later has received an interview invitation yet? Mine went under review on the 27th and I haven't heard anything since.
However, it seems that the review periods are getting longer even for those who finally receive an invitation.

I did recently. (R1 applicant here).

Modern building, nice campus. Very nice students and alumni - friendly and collaborative as per the reputation.

Questions were pretty standard. (Why MBA, Why Cornell). Some were "behavioral" (What would you do X, or Tell us about a time when... ). Mostly standard stuff. Just be sure you know why you want to attend Cornell, and why you want an MBA, and be yourself.

Lasted about half an hour for their questions.

Hey guys, I'm applying for R2. How tolerant do you think Cornell admissions is with the word-limits? Would they tolerate a 10% excess? Like any school, they say 'stay as close to the limit' .. but I'm curious how everyone is approaching this.

They deliberately made theirs shorter than average. (400 words is quite short). They have some rationale for it I believe. I'd stick with the word limit.

Thanks. My application finally went under review late last week so it's probably premature to worry. But given the pace they've been going so far with my application, it doesn't seem like there is enough time to get an interview in and have time for them to do a final review before the decision deadline.
