Hey,

I want to apply in round 2 to cornell. I have done 3 years of undergraduation (undergraduation is for 3 years only in India) from a college where the medium of instruction was English. I have not taken my TOEFL....do you think I can get a TOEFL waiver since I have done my education from schools where medium of instruction has been english throughout though my native language is not english.

Can someone advice whether I am eligible for applying to cornell....Also any idea whether 4 yrs of undergraduate education is compulsory? Nothing is clearly mentioned about this on the Johnson website....

I received an email on Friday stating that my application is Under Review. Its status has also changed online. Hopefully an interview invitation will follow....

When I informed the school that I wanted to do an interview with an alum in my country, they gave me back a whole list of alums in the SURROUNDING countries! Is this some kinda policy designed so that you won't get to interview with a person from the same country as you?

Nevertheless they told me if I can't arrange an interview within 2 weeks they will set up a phone interview for me.

If you guys were me would you fly over to meet an alum (closest country is a 2-hour flight), or would you opt for a phone interview???

I'm an international applicant from Asia. Submitted my application on 5th October, received the change in status to "application under review" on 15th Oct, and now, an interview invite on 22nd Oct.

GMAT 680 + 1.5 year of work experience in finance :)

I just got an interview invite like 10 hours ago! Has anyone else heard from them? do you know what the chances of getting admitted are if you are invited for an interview with Johnson? Like for Sloan I heard they shortlisted so many ppl if you get interviewed your chance is 50%.

I'm so excited! This is my first MBA interview ever... :?

I am working on the application now. Am I missing something or is there no place to enter your extra curriculuars in the application?

Nevermind....found it., should have reviewed the essay section more closely!!

yea I received my invite today, submitted Oct 3rd, so excited.
Now, do they want us to schedule the appointment right away when we call them back?
I'm still debating between on and off campus interview.

I scheduled on-campus - I'm in Boston, so its about a 6 hour drive. Didn't seem like there were a lot of options? At least for the week I was looking at (3rd in Nov.).

I was feeling pretty confident I would get an invite from Cornell because I got invited to interview at Yale, but now I'm starting to get uneasy about my application not being reviewed yet. Has anyone with submitted status attempted to contact admissions for an update?

That's what I was thinking... But I noticed if you go to johnsoncornell.askadmissions.net/Vip/Default.aspx and log in you can get the contact information for your application account manager. Seems like a safer bet than contacting someone in admissions for an explanation. If my application doesn't go under review this week I might try it.
