I've visited accepted.com several times, but I can't find it.
Any news on interview invitations? How competitve is R1 this year? Is there any fluctuation in international applicant pool?

I attended the chat and i would say that there were a vast International pool of candidates interested in Cornell. I don't know how many are applying in Round 1, but on the whole, i feel that as this year too would be competitive.
The adcom did seem to mention that the Interview invitations would take around 3 weeks or more.

I really wonder why that is especially since Johnson was not one of the schools that was able to secure loans that do not require a US co-signer for international students. Does anyone know if there has been any progress on that front?
Cornell is VERY reputable internationally. I grew up in Taiwan (but have lived in US for 20 years) and I can tell you Cornell is perceived extremely prestigious there.
I will be visiting Cornell next Tuesday attending information session, campus tour, and classes. I will update everyone on how my visit went. I have been talking with one current student and one alumni and I can't believe how much effort they made in answering my questions. It is really impressive.
Also in for round 1. I find the Johnson website and adcoms difficult to get information from, so I'm thrilled to have this source for interview timing scoops.
Was told today that the switch to the new online application system has backed up the scheduling of interviews and even the reading of applications..... Patience....

Did anyone else notice that info entered into the online fields did not transfer properly to the final application PDF? I had problems with my suffix and the "number of employees" fields on the second and third employers not populating based on what I entered in the fields.

I had a similar problem. My employer#3's name was not shown on the final application pdf. I reported this bug to the admission office.
phew.. That post got me panic for a bit. I previously only scan through the final app pdf. So I have to check it again today, and thankfully mine was alright.
my app is "under review" as well (or maybe it's sitting on the rejection pile already). Hope everyone's doing alright...and let he waiting game begins..*tick tock tick tock
