Yup there is a difference. Duke has an EA which is binding in the sense that if selected to Duke, you will have to withdraw any other offer you receive. But cornell had a simple R1..Anyways fingers still crossed on outcome.
I'm assuming there is a difference between EA and R1? I don't recall an option for EA but that was a long time ago and I have a terrible memory. The home stretch before the decision sucks.

Sorry. I mean R1 instead of EA. So, has Johnson finished releasing R1 offers?
Not an international. Profile is sub 3 GPA from a top 5 liberal arts school(my contention is I picked the right school to get a lousy GPA at), 740 GMAT(49 Q, 41 V), 6 years work experience is supply chain management for oil and gas companies.
I got a call from Russell. They said they would try to call all of the admits. The woman I interviewed with said she gets flustered the day of because people start posting on message boards that the calls are going out and it creates a lot of stress for those waiting to hear.
If "Private Number" shows up on your phone make sure to answer it.
