I believe the average work experience of students in the AMBA program is about 5-6 years. My background is in engineering (high-tech) and I have close to 7 years of experience. Post MBA, I'm planning to focus on corporate development in the tech industry.

I must say I'm perplexed. Adcom notifies internationals but no U.S.? Either we R2-ers stunk big time or the phone service in Ithaca must be out.

Someone had posted earlier that his/her adcom interviewer had said they might not be making calls this time around. I was hoping it might not happen but with the way things are looking it might very well be. :( I think they made an exception with China alone :-D

That was me - and it wasn't that they wouldn't be making calls, just that they probably wouldn't be able to do so late in the week before te notification date. I would think that Valentine's Day on Monday might complicate this further, because I doubt they want people nervously clinging to their phones and being in a foul mood!

Congrats to all accepted - I was looking through last year's thread and found the calls going out in Friday, thus expecting the same but unreal to get the call.

Cornell was my last one waiting, so this is the end of my app year, but to those who have more schools, I wish you the best :) And those who are accepted, I wish I will see you in Ithaca. Supposedly April is devilishly good.
