Yep. I applied in December just before Christmas and I was invited during the first week of January. I finished my interview on-campus last Friday (Feb 4)


Will you pls share your bg?

I believe the average work experience of students in the AMBA program is about 5-6 years. My background is in engineering (high-tech) and I have close to 7 years of experience. Post MBA, I'm planning to focus on corporate development in the tech industry.

Someone had posted earlier that his/her adcom interviewer had said they might not be making calls this time around. I was hoping it might not happen but with the way things are looking it might very well be. :( I think they made an exception with China alone :-D

That was me - and it wasn't that they wouldn't be making calls, just that they probably wouldn't be able to do so late in the week before te notification date. I would think that Valentine's Day on Monday might complicate this further, because I doubt they want people nervously clinging to their phones and being in a foul mood!

I hate to contradict myself and I apologize for the anxiety that this may cause everyone for the rest of today, but in the interest of full disclosure, I just got the call and I'm in!

For those of you who have landlines, I found out from my voyage voicemail.

I am in, and yes, their number is "blocked" number.

Laurie told me I'm on the waitlist for scholarship.

Cornell alum' 06/live in CA/a board member of alumni asso/700 GMAT/above 3.0 GPA

Congrats to all accepted - I was looking through last year's thread and found the calls going out in Friday, thus expecting the same but unreal to get the call.

Cornell was my last one waiting, so this is the end of my app year, but to those who have more schools, I wish you the best :) And those who are accepted, I wish I will see you in Ithaca. Supposedly April is devilishly good.
