Depend depends on the firm and where that’s not true I have non-Canadian/mexican friends in nyc working for large REPE firms.

Everyone i know went consulting or tech

No American citizenship/greencard

Consulting is agnostic but tough

No mba too just a master in real estate (MSRE)

Anf tech i dont know what role to apply to

Would that be a better option? Might be less costlier to

mba is a great way to pivot too, as long you’re realistic

Easier to get into a prestigious school and cheaper. If you really want to do real estate, I would do that to be honest with you and forget the mba. I have two friends who did it at Columbia and they’re doing very well in New York City right now
