Hi Everyone,

Greetings!

I have applied to the Full-Time MBA Program at the Cranfield School of Management as per the R2 Deadline (January 23, 2022). I have my interview scheduled with Prof.Joe Nellis on February 23, 2022 (Wednesday). I have been asked to prepare a 3-minute presentation on "Given recent worldwide developments, how important are international organisations such as the World Health Organisation, and what role do they play in socio-economic development?". I have also been instructed to prepare the presentation without using any visual aids.

I kindly request the candidates who have already gone through the interview process to share their two cents on preparing the presentation? For example, does one need to create a Powerpoint PPT or Prezi PPT? Also, it would be great if someone could share a sample of the presentation that they prepared for the interview.

Hoping to hear from you soon!

Thanks & Regards,
Anshul Kakria

Hi Anshul, I had my interview with Prof Joe. My advise is first do a good research on the topic and then draft your thoughts in 2 or 3 paragraphs. There must be an intro, a body, and an ending, and don't forget to include your personal opinion. Once that is done, practice the presentation by yourself until you can confidently say it under 3 minutes without even looking at it. You have to be present it orally in the interview so confidence is vital. Good luck to you!

Hi Biddu86,

So I wanted to know do I need to make a Powerpoint PPT or Prezi PPT? I mean what is the format to create this presentation? Also, in the email that I got it’s also written that I am not to use any visual aids. So any idea what that refers to?

I prepared a Powerpoint presentation for my interview. But during the interview, the interviewer told me that we aren't supposed to use any visual stuff. So it's just an oral presentation.

I was interviewed on 10th Feb. Haven't heard back yet. Also, I have received admit from Bayes and its deadline to accept is approaching. Really confused should I wait for Cranfield or go about securing my seat in Bayes.

I would suggest you ask this question to the Cranfield admissions team. Neither of us here has the authority to answer this.

Hey Biddu86,

Greetings!

Can you please share your two cents on how prompt is Cranfield in declaring the results? And also, are the results announced directly through the portal or an email or both? In my interview invite, it was written that the school would be declaring the results in the week starting February 28, 2022 (The Ongoing Week); however, I am yet to hear from the school.

Kindly share your two cents on the same since you are admitted candidate.

anshul4, Jozey007 You should hear from the Cranfield admissions team (Helen/Philip) via email upon acceptance of your application. The same will be reflected in the Eve portal as well in a day or two. Please contact Helen if you have any questions about the status update delay.
