I did get a HELLAH sweet orange pen. I mean, it writes in orange ink. Actual orange. Sweeeeeeeeeet......

I was stoked about the orange ink Darden pen as well. This wait for Darden news is killing me. Two more weeks, I guess.

Hey all!

Just ten odd days to go ... good luck everyone!

Could someone add me to the list? I'm a R1 applicant and have interviewed already. I think I was invited to interview on 12/1 or maybe a couple days before that. I interviewed on 12/12.

Should I be worried that my status still says "Received"? I applied for R2 and submitted my application on 1/5/09. I know some school never change the status.

I would not worry about it. I do not remember what happened after I applied, but that probably just means they have all of the materials. The only change you should worry about next is invite to interview.

Edit: Here is Darden's description of "Pending Committee Review" from https://dardenadmissions.wordpress.com/2008/11/21/application-status-change/:

LOL. I'm going to wait for an interview invite so I can feed my ego about having received an invitation to interview everywhere I applied. :wink:

Besides, a lot of folks at Darden helped me put together a reasonably strong application, so I feel I owe it to them to pursue things just a bit further. In any case, I'm notoriously fickle minded. :)

Don't think you'll get off that easy. It's a long drawn out process. Look at the interview invite dates on the 1st page of this thread. People got invites from November to December. At least, February is almost here.

I thought I was gonna be sooooooooooo cool by getting that up there before 8 am. There's some quote about a worm that eats a bird, but only before sunrise, but it's not really coming to me.

Agreed, I wish it had come out three or four months ago.

Ha, I'm a Round 1 applicant, eagerly anticipating the decisions to come next week. So I'm just checking the thread, and I scroll down to the bottom to see what the latest post is, only to see this little gem... I see the congrats and think "Holy Crap, they're calling a week early" and I get all excited. Only to find out that its an interview invite for Round 2...

Only a few more days though.

haha.. sorry didnt mean to give you a heart attack.

Notice was an email. I logged into the system and was able to schedule my interview. Must say - this stuff about blind interviews without a resume is a little different. I like having my folder with me. Can list my questions in case I forget and gives me something to keep my hands on. Pretty excited to get an interview though. Look forward to visiting - scheduled for the 18th.
