Has anyone gotten off the waitlist or pulled their name? I called the school and they said that we should hear sometime this month. The R2 deposit deadline passed and she told me that people that did not reply will have their acceptance pulled today. Hopefully they have an idea what the class looks like and will start to let some WL'ers in.

Got this rather strange email from Darden today. Seems to indicate that I got accepted, but was denied earlier in the year? Has anyone else received this whats the deal. I called admissions and left a message with them?

still waiting. Not sure about date to give up etc... but imagine it will be in june. working out Visa's / finances will be hard after that. Probably end of june i think for me.

I'm still on the waitlist.

If I don't get into Darden, I'm probably going to pursue a law degree next year and then maybe try again for an MBA at some point later.

Of course, getting into Darden could completely change the calculus of where I will be in August.

Stumbled upon this thread and thought I'd use the opportunity to find out from those interested in Darden: why Darden ?

I'm seriously looking into Darden at the moment, even though I was initially against a pure case-method school, but I'm slowly getting sold ...

busweek forums reported some movement of the waitlist.. so i guess atleast one person got in last week. I spoke to ppl from the admissions office (think it was operations not a committee member) and she said they would be pretty proactive if you are still on the waitlist as far as encouraging you to apply next year and giving you preference (dont know how much that means) for next year if you apply in R1.

Saw that too. I think he was international. My one complaint is how vague the whole waitlist process has been.

So I am new here but am on BW frequently. Do people here think there will be movement off the WL? It seems odd that there has not been more, as other peer and higher ranked schools have gone to theirs. I am hoping that Darden is going to hit the WL soon.
