I applied March 31st and received an invite to interview I believe Thursday the 8th.

I just had my interview today and saw the portion where they will attempt to notify us before April 31st. I wonder when they will make decisions...

Question - and I'm speculating here - do you think we received interview invites before the proposed timeline (April 22) for a specific reason?

Of course, I would love to think that we are the front runners and that the AdCom did this so we could potentially attend Darden Days, but what does anyone else think?

I would say MAYBE, considering you are close to the campus and would be able to quickly visit the campus again without too much hassles. Anyone who got interview outside of east coast area please jump out to piss me off?

R3 applicant here. F/27/710/5 yrs WE corp communications.

Have to say I'm really surprised by the fact that people are already getting interviews, that's really quick! Also, on the website, it says for R3 interviews begin on April 22nd. I assumed that was the date we start hearing.

Anyway nothing as yet and nervous!

No kidding, me too! I went to UVA undergrad and have a horrible transcript. Hoping strong GMAT can make up for it...

I don't have a great transcript from NYU, decent but not amazing. But I got the interview invite yesterday! So there's hope for all of us :-D

Yesterday, myself and another guy from Ohio were waiting together for our interview's to start, so I don't believe that is the case.

I think it's just the order that they process them. I got an relatively "early" interview notification in round 2 and live in Argentina.

Quick update: I've elected to remove myself from the Darden waitlist (I'll be studying at Ross in the fall). Hopefully, I've improved the chances of some other people here on the waitlist. Best of luck to all of you!

yea, I would love to know as well. That was a quick turn around. Must of really hit it off with the interviewer or fill a type they are missing.

I was hoping they might let a few of us waitlisters know yea or nay in the next few weeks..

Can anyone please tell me what happens if you pay your enrollment deposit and then decide not to attend in the Fall? Is it possible to withdraw your enrollment after paying your deposit?

In terms of getting your deposit back? I would suppose so -- but would that in anyway hurt you otherwise?
