For those of you on the waitlist, the key date to be aware of is June 15. People have to pay a second deposit of $2,000 to hold their spots by that date. I accepted my offer and paid my initial deposit, but there is a possibility I may go elsewhere. Good luck to those still waiting.

I for one may be another individual pulling out on that date. I'm probably headed to Ross but wanted to go to Ross Rendezvous before I make my decision 100% official. To those in or hoping to go, keep your heads up. Also, please don't take my bailing on Darden to think that I didn't love the program or think it's as good as Ross. The truth is I liked Darden more but my desire to remain in the Midwest in MC sort of swayed my decision. I could have gone into MC from Darden as well, but from what everyone told me I'd likely be in the DC, Atlanta, Charlotte offices and that's not ideal to me.

This may be off-topic, but i will go ahead.

Has Darden started accepting requests for feedbacks for waitlisted/dinged candidates? On the website, they mention June 1 onwards, the doors open.

you can now schedule the 15 minute feedback session with admissions. call the admissions office, and they will help you set it up.

Just wanted to give an update - I received a letter from admissions with an update on my waitlist status - informing me that they have narrowed their waitlist and I am one of the people they have decided to keep on the list.

Just wondering if anyone got an email like this?

I also got one.

Have people been in a lot of contact with the admissions folks? I haven't said a word to them yet and was thinking about giving them a ring next week to let them know I'm alive and still interested.

I contacted/called them a few times after the initial waitlisting. I think my GMAT was the crux...

I just saw Darden's latest video, where Sara Neher says that the yield for Darden was very high this year. To those still on the waitlist, hang in there!!!

In my initial chat with admissions after being waitlisted, I was told the only weakness of my application was my GMAT. I guess it's better than having a lot to work on, but it's frustrating when they talk about no one factor outweighing another and the whole "holistic" approach. No one admits it but the GMAT means more than they say it does.
