Guys, my online status today is now saying:

* INTERVIEW INVITATION: You have been invited to interview with Darden. Schedule

but I haven't got any email notification and I can't find ANY available slots in the scheduling system. I hope this is not some kind of error otherwise I'll be so hurt.

Congrats ! I interviewed in Toronto with an alum as well. Best of luck, and let me know if I can be of any help.

Hi ppl... i'm getting really anxious and constantly checking my application website few times every day. I just logged in and realised that my application status has changed. In the past, it used to be something like "MBA: Your application has been submitted. Thank you for applying to Darden." Now it's just blank.

Any idea if this
1) is a system bug
2) means application status is in the midst of changing (to invite for interview hopefully, and not dinged)
3) application is lost

Oh my... the wait is killing me... been more than 2 mths since i submitted... :(

Hmm, I don't know what to make of it. My application still says "MBA: Your application ..." I already interviewed (R2) and it still says that. My interview invitation came through email and then I think I went to the website and scheduled an interview. I can't remember what the application website said at the time.

I wouldn't worry too much about the website. I understand it's their first year using the system, so there might be quirks here and there. Overall, there doesn't seem to be any reports of any significant problems though.

In terms of interview invites, don't lose hope yet, especially as it looks like you're an international student.

Yes i'm an international applicant from Singapore. Any other Singaporean applicant out there?

I will probably wait for a couple of days for the status to auto-correct itself. If it doesn't, maybe I will email the adcom to enquire about it.

Keeping fingers and toes crossed that invites will come our way pretty pretty soon

Domestic R2, nothing here either. I was talking to a Rnd 1 applicant (who is wait listed currently) and he received his interview invite literally 3 days before the decision date, so I would not fret too much just yet.

As for your page, I wouldn't read too much into it. My page has said the same as yours less the MBA part since I submitted. I chalk it up a quirky system.

Okay, ridiculous question, but can anybody share when classes start for Darden this coming fall? As I wait (seemingly endlessly) with nothing better to do (other than my real job, of course) than run through my apps and interviews in my head (worst case scenarios, typically) and make hypothetical plans based on potential outcomes (trying to focus on best possible scenarios) I was looking for the academic calendar and totally failed. The link from the main UVA academic calendars page to the Darden-specific page is broken, and I didn't see it anywhere on the main Darden site. Admitted folks? Help an anxious waiter/compulsive planner out?

I can't tell if this is a result of Darden being my only admit thus far or me loving Darden this much but every time I get a GMATClub email notification about the Darden forum I get much more excited than I do for all others...argh, if Duke or Michigan accepts me this is going to be brutal. I can tell you one thing, with the professionalism and class that Darden showed during this entire process it would be extremely difficult to NOT accept this offer. For those of you considering Darden but not having a lot of contact with them thus far I can tell you first hand that this b-school has been truly exceptional in all of my interaction with them. They have a lot to be proud of and so do their students and alumni.

I think it's somewhere on the checklist or admitted students portal. I remember reading it somewhere but can't remember exactly where it was but I also remember it being around that time.

For roll call purposes I'm going to withdraw/decline my admit to Darden. It was a difficult decision because I think Darden has a better general management program than Yale, but personal reasons for remaining in Connecticut, such as my wife's career, outweigh any benefit I may get by uprooting us to Darden. Good luck to those in Round 2!
