Calling all Darden Fall 2010 Applicants!

If this many Atlas Shrugged readers are going to Darden then perhaps it really is the school for me . . .

Yes, he must have been. Sorry, it's been a while since I read the book, and my fingers pounded out an answer before I realized that was an even more obvious reference. I'm a fool!

FYI guys,

First years obviously have to be there August 16 this year.

They are only offering 1 Pre-Mat class - Accounting. Which us good since I hear Excel was kind of a waste of time.

Accounting will be August 9,10 and 11 from 8am-12am.

Registration for this class will go up around April 15 and will cost $360. There are only 180 places so be sure to sign up soon if you want it.

PS My package is in Kentucky too. I am in DC. Same tracking times and everything. I talked to Fed Ex and it should get to West Springfield tomorrow to be sorted. It will either be here tomorrow or Monday (sucks).

I actually had them email me a copy of my financial aid letter, since I had to make my decision for Fuqua and couldn't wait until Monday.

All things considered, I decided to send my check to Duke today, so hopefully I free up a spot on the waitlist for one of you. Good luck everyone; Darden is a fantastic place but in the end it wasn't for me.

Mine is in Tennessee. I am from Arlington, VA... SO weird. I should have just driven down to Charlottesville and picked it up myself. Seems odd that a it takes a package 5 days to travel a 100 miles...

I live in San Jose and when I check my Fedex tracker code, it still shows the package status at "Initiated" (Mar 31, 9:08AM). Anyone else seeing the same thing? Thanks.

Ops sorry I meant TN. I'm in Fairfax. I know, it's so frustrating. I thought about picking it up too. Ridic. I mean, I gladly would have paid for it to be overnighted.

Yeah, I saw the same thing up until 45 minutes ago when I received an email with a new tracking number . . . and it's still just Initiated . . .

No new tracking number for me yet. And the waiting goes on. I think I'll be bald by the time I'm done waiting.

I just registered for Darden Days. As of right now, I plan to drive to UVA Thursday morning and drive home Saturday afternoon. To those that are going, how long are you staying?

Do you have a schedule for Darden Days? I'm need to see how busy those two days are before booking my reservations...

It's online. Just login to the admitted students portal and click the Darden Days link on the right-hand side. The schedule will be in a .pdf file near the top of next page.
