Does someone happen to know whether one is able to send another recommendation letter once waitlisted?

Thanks

I know from an alumnus who was WL and got an offer later that you could send another recommendation. You need to be very careful though not to step on the other side of the line. The recommendation would be helpful only if the recommender has to share something new, different and extraordinary, and show you from a different perspective. Something the adcoms do not already know. Otherwise, it would just be pointless and could even hurt you.

Dinged without interview. That makes me question the sanity of the Darden application review process as such, but, having said that, I guess they missed out on a great candidate.
Still waiting for decisions from Wharton, Columbia and McCombs, with whom I have had interviews, with a full-ride at Fisher as a viable safety option in mind.

Good luck to all, who got accepted!

Congratulations. You've won "the vainest post I've ever seen" competition.

I also got waitlisted after an interview. I guess they think that Israelis are calm and patient people that don't mind another couple of months of agony ;) I'm visiting both Darden and Kenan-Flagler in two weeks, I'll withdraw from the WL if I like KFBS better anyway, or on their deposit date in late April.

In a perfect world, you would get info like: you're currently #120 out of 300 on the WL. We expect about 100 people to decline admissions, so your current chances are 17.8%. Improving your GMAT by 40 points will likely move you up by 30 places.

Then, every week you would get a summary of the action: Person at #96 sent us eight annoying e-mails and moved down to #130. Person at #150 helped an old lady cross the street and moved up to #100. You are currently #110/280.

Good luck to everyone!

You got waitlisted with a 770? Was there any part of your application that was weak (essays, interview, etc)?

Hey guys!

I was offered admission to both Darden and Kelley, and I am having trouble deciding which school would be best for me.
I was hoping someone here could give me some insight.

I have 3 years WE in sales at Procter & Gamble, and I'm looking to transition to CPG Brand Management post-graduation.

I know Kelley has a very well respected Consumer Marketing program and has been succesful placing students in the big CPG companies, but I haven't been able to find much information about Marketing at Darden.

Also, I have been awarded a pretty significant scholarship at Kelley.

I'm trying to get in touch with current students from both schools, but wanted to get an "outsider" point of view also.

I appreciate the help!

My grades are average (3.2), I think my essays are as well. However, I'm only 23, with pretty limited 3 years experience. I felt that the interviewer was a bit skeptical about the "why now?" part. I tried to convince him that I have a lot to contribute to the discussions at Darden, which I guess is the main thing they look for. It seems that I wasn't entirely convincing. :(
