Hmm, I got the call last week, I think Wednesday or Thursday. Anyhow, no package in the mail yet...has anyone received theirs and did it come via USPS or UPS/Fedex?

God! I hate this waiting! I got a full scolarship at GBS and I just want to know what Darden has for me so I can stop dreaming about going there!!! No letter today either.

if you want to live / work in the south esp atlanta go with Emory, it places first in consulting in the region and I am sure it does well in other areas

Out of curiosity, does the admit packet actually say 'no scholarship'? Or is it simply not mentioned. The reason I ask is that one person earlier commented that the fin aid letter might come separate this round because the fin aid office was so backed up.

mine stated the same "blah blah NO MONEY"... I have also heard about the R1 majority scholarship trend and I believe it is quite silly. I would assume that best is to also have enough $$ for R2 folks. Otherwise, they could end up missing some really good candidates.

As I get extremely nervous on the $$ issue, the unlucky ones that did not receive a scholarship, could you guys share how you plan on financing yourself? Private loans from the US, home country? at what rates? Federal loans? which ones? savings?

I received no money. Unlike some folks that I know, I have to take out loans for everything (tuition + room&board). This is certainly a scary thought but it's a thought that I've already pondered on before I even applied to b-school. I filed FAFSA and will take every penny that I can take for the first year. Then I may readjust my finances for my second year.

Here's a bitter part of me: I have a friend who goes to a top 10 b-school and the parents are paying all 6-figures of the tuition. :x

Look at the bright side: at least you can apply for a loan. In many other countries that wont even be an option.
