I totally agree with you. The one thing I have not done in the last 3 years (And will probably do this year), is to apply in the first round. Last year, I was told I needed to improve my GMAT score, which is why I took sometime to apply, and did so in the second round. I am guessing had I applied in the first round, it would have made a big difference.

Amazing! Having applied 3 times you must really want to go to Darden. Were you able to improve the GMAT score this time around? I wonder what went wrong.

I did improve my GMAT score, considerably. I am not sure what went wrong as that was the only thing I was told in my feedback, that I needed to improve. I should probably have applied in the first round, which I will do now. I guess this year there were too many people who accepted the offer in the first round....

Looks like so far it's dings all around. All I can say is at least the wait is over. I'm glad they didn't wait until the very end of July, or God forbid, August. Best of luck to everyone!

I have not recieved a ding email and my application still says "You have elected to remain on the waitlist," as of 12.36pm PST. Does anyone have a change on their actual application page?

Looks like maybe they just trimmed the waiting list. Did anyone else not receive a ding? SOCEM what is your profile? Age, w/e, gmat?

male, 27, 710 GMAT, 3.25 GPA, BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering, 3 yrs advanced programs at major defense contractor
I am hoping next year I'll get one year further away from a low GPA and one more year of work experience I am lacking because of the MS degree.

It looks they trimmed the international applicants .. probably because there is no time left to complete the formalities now...

The remaining on the waitlist can get lucky if any of the admits can not make it in the last few days ...

What kind of feedback did you all get?

I was told that I didn't demonstrate that I'm a good fit for the school (or the school is a good fit for me - whatever)... kinda strange given that the person I interviewed with told me that I would be a good fit for the school. Nothing else was alarming. Not sure what to expect in the next cycle.

Is Darden giving feedback to anyone still on the waitlist? I am under the impression from their admissions blog that they are not, but just wondering if anyone has experienced this differently.
