Hi All,
I submitted my Darden application 2 min late.
My reciept was generated on 12 jan but money deducation happened on 13 jan.

Now when i login it say application deadline R3 and after that application submitted hyperlink.

It doesn't show R2 . Should I be worried that my App was submitted as R3?

I am attaching the screenshot

Please help me here.

Thanks a million :-)

Joy

I would call the admissions office to confirm, but you're probably fine. Everyone R1, R2, or R3 would show the same screenshot you show below. It just means that Round 3 is the only remaining deadline.

Thanks a lot for the information.

I actually refrain from bothering the Adcom now and then :-) ,
and Social forums are fairly fast :-D
but nevertheless I will try reaching them on on Monday as R3 will kill the App .

Judging from experience, you can expect to hear interview invites to trickle out started end of next week and will go all the way up to the decision date.

Are any of the Round 1 admits attending Day at Darden?
I'd have to take Thursday off just to get there (from a distant client site), so I'm debating whether or not it's worth it.

I'll be there. Hoping to meet many future classmates in ~3 weeks or so.

I'll be there as well. Definitely worth taking two days off for! I mean, I'm taking two years off, what's another two days :-D

Good point. I suppose I'll be quitting in a few months anyways.

I saw a girl was rejected last year but admitted without interview this year.
Does anyone hear any similar story?

I talked to a guy who got rejected (with interview) the first time he applied, and then when he was invited to interview again as a R1 reapp the next year, he called the admissions committee and someone told him that his interview from the year before was really strong. Since he didn't stand much to gain my interviewing again, he didn't and got in R1.

I would not be surprised if the girl you know sought and found similar feedback. I don't think people are admitted out of the blue without being invited for an IV as a reapp, but I don't believe interviewing again is necessary (or even beneficial) in some cases.

Those videos were really well done. Darden certainly chooses classes from all different places and backgrounds!

Good videos. If they are planning on making any more, it would be nice to see student interactions in the Darden environment itself in addition to these one on one interviews.

Thanks for posting!
