Just got a call from a Duke 2Y welcoming me (I think this is always a nice touch).

Blue Devil Weekend is March 28-31. She also said the admit pkg was coming in 2-3 weeks...so either there are two separate packages or she was mistaken.

Just checked the mail and haven't gotten my packet yet. Anything in it besides the letter, nervous?

Hmmm... weird! Not sure what other package can be there!
The package contained a welcome binder, a small writing pad and a Duke MBA sticker.

Got a scholarship e-mail from Duke. Unfortunately can't open it due to the firewall at work but people on BW are saying that the e-mail doesn't state the exact $$$.

I got the same email. The actual amount is in snail mail that went out today...lame!

Same here. It's weird that they would say you got one, but not how much. Wonder if a call to the admissions office would be out of place? Looks like they timed it so it would go out at end of day for the AdCom, though.

D'u know what is the mean amount of scholarships last year? What is the difference between institutional scholarships and tuition scholarships?

last year we could access the scholarship letter from their online application site - I didn't have to wait for the email.

Hi,

I'm a R1 admit interested in HSM. I received the scholarship email too but no mail yet... I thought they might FedEx it like they did the admission packet...but I guess not. From reading this thread and the posts on the BW forum it seems there are a lot of scholarship offers out there for Fuqua R1 so I'm not getting my hopes up in terms of dollar value.

Whoa, mba2010! $26K per year is not too shabby! Congrats! Is this going to effect your decision to go to Kellogg at all?

I haven't received a letter yet. Maybe I'll get it tonight, when I get home from work...

I doubt I'll go to Duke, despite the generous offer. I've been pretty set on Kellogg for a while now.
