Congratulations! I am delighted to offer you admission to The Duke MBA Class of 2013.

The Duke MBA will provide you the opportunity to expand your business skills within a community of diverse and deeply engaged students and faculty members. Here you will find an unlimited number of ways to learn and grow, including leading student clubs, competing in case and business plan competitions, and embedding yourself in the business and culture of other regions of the world through our multitude of international programs. In short, I am confident that you will find The Duke MBA experience to be two of the most challenging and rewarding years of your life.
As you begin your journey to Duke, please note the following important information:
Financial Aid
Every admitted student is considered for merit-based scholarship assistance. The Duke MBA funds a limited number of highly competitive merit scholarships. Recipients of a merit award will hear from the scholarship committee approximately two weeks from the date of this letter.
Your Next Steps
Review the “Your Guide to Fuqua” flash drive, mailed in your admission packet, which includes important resources and information about Fuqua and Duke.
Visit the new Web site for the 2013 Duke MBA class at
www.fuqua.duke.edu/welcomestudents. Look for an e-mail with login instructions to begin networking with future classmates and to receive key announcements and guidance.
Return the confirmation card included in your admission packet, with a $3,000 USD non-refundable tuition deposit and your official transcript(s). These materials must be received in The Office of Admissions no later than December 17, 2010. Checks should be made payable to “Duke University, FSB.”
New student orientation begins August 1, 2011, and your attendance is required.
