Hi .. I´m an International R2 Applicant too (South America). Please add me to the list.

I applied to Tuck as my Nº1 choice by far.
If I get in, I will be very excited to experience the kind of culture they developed there.

It´s amazing the difference between what Tuck´s process transmits in comparison to other Top BS. In Tuck, even though anyone knows that is very hard to get in, I felt that they really want me to experience their culture and were involved in the process.

Has anybody else felt this?

Any South American?

Do you know the average GMAT for International Students for Tuck or any Top10 BS?

Hey gariceta! I'm not South American, but I live in Brazil. Where are you from? There were plenty of South American students at Tuck when I visited, and it seems the average GMAT for them is about 700.

Yes, I also received this email this morning. I hope it's a standard email to all R1 applicants. Otherwise, it will mean that we're not going to receive a phone call :(

I wonder if they will call the admitted applicants on Monday or Tuesday like they did for EA, or if they will call them on Thursday or Friday like they did last year...
We'll know soon enough! :P

I suspect I already know the answer to my own question, but as a R2 candidate who has already interviewed, is it likely I will not hear from the school until the final decision date?

I recently went up to Dartmouth for an interview and did not connect with my interviewer very well. My interviewer seemed a bit sour to be honest. Tough break considering the personal expense and weight the Tuck interview carries.

I don't think it carries more weight than any other part of your application. As long as you're happy with the rest of your app, I wouldn't worry about it.

Sorry to hear this happened to someone else too - not just me. I certainly could have prepared further but frankly my interviewer seemed entirely apathetic about the entire process. I couldn't tell if it was a calculated stoicism, I was terribly boring, or she just didn't want to be there... Anyways, not a great experience, which was a shame considering the rest of the day there was pretty positive.
