I don't think rank matters and the Consortium is probably telling the truth when they say the schools don't see your rank until after they've admitted you. Someone on this board got into Yale and ranked them 4. I got waitlisted and ranked them #2. Better luck with your other schools! I know I could really use an admit myself hmmph

Some schools do see the ranks, some don't....some care some dont...but I do know one of my schools saw my ranking because someone from the mba program emailed me and discussed where I had ranked them....each school is different...just want to put that out there for next years applicants.

Got into UT-Austin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! POW! :-D

Admit calls are on their way!!! The adcom rep said forget about checking on the site, they're still having technical difficulties. Best of luck to all waiting to hear back from McCombs!!

Yes. I saw that...just sucks b/c they were my first choice and I really liked the school. Can't win 'em all, I guess. :)

busybee, funny thing, the exact same thing happened to me, all day I was jittery about a phone call, then all of a sudden(thanks awesome Iphone reception) I see a voicemail, hear Jolene's voice and I was like OOOOHHH MMMAAANNN
