Look, I think a good analogy here is to compare these programs to luxury cars. Harvard is like a Lamborghini or Ferrari and Darden, Ross, Stern are like a Lexus, Mercedes or maybe even an Acura. The Lamborghini group is overkill if you want to drive it around on streets with 40mph speed limits. They were made for the autobon, where there are no limits and there are other sexy cars. These cars have engine capacities that are vastly underutilized on American roads, and thus, they are constantly working at low capacity. If you take the Acura to the German roads, it will be working at 95% capacity all the time and burn out. But I plan to live in America, so who cares if I get "stuck" with a brand new benz! I don't see anything wrong with driving an Acura either, and if it's gonna cost you less time with your family or friends to drive the Lamborghini in Europe, then its not worth it.
