I was thinking of doing a campus visit to Yale on the 21 (president's day so I have the day off)... but decision's go out on the 25th. Would it make a difference?

ok so I'll ask my question again in hopes that one of my sagacious fellow applicants will provide much needed guidance and pacification....
If you do your consortium interview with a Darden alum (off campus), can you be admitted without further interview?
I ask because I'm in that situation and have not heard a thing from them. Its a total black box. They neither return phone calls nor emails. I thought the hubris was for Harvard :(

Someone please shine a light...Thanks. We're all we've got out here folks.

Hello forumaddict (aren't we all)... :-D

Yes, it may be sufficient. I got a forte fellowship to Darden, and visited the campus in my process of visiting schools. I did not do my consortium interview with a Darden alum either, however, I got into Darden without a formal interview invite or interview. That may be your situation, so, do not fret! I called Darden while I waited too, and no one gave me a clue! Yet, I was accepted. Hang in there.

Anyone know if UCLA & Haas invite Consortium applicants to interview or is the Consortium interview enough?

Yeah, I got mine from HAAS two weeks ago...round 2 applicant. I ranked them 4th, so I'm surprised that I haven't heard back from Cornell or Tuck as they were higher on my list.

What are you expecting to hear from Tuck? They take the Consortium interview, for the most part.

I thought they needed a separate interview? I guess I was mistaken.

You won't hear anything from Tuck. They only require the 1 interview so if you did a Consortium interview you'll just have to wait until the 3rd week of March. (the 18th) to be exact

I believe they can ask for one but not necessary
