So i want to share some updates on my aps with you
Got an email from Tuck Last Thursday saying they got my app and will contact me me if they need something else or if they make a decision- Generic Email .
Also got one generic similar one from Darden yesterday

And today at 4Pm EST got an interview invite from Darden . I did my consortium interview with an alum from another school in my town

I've really studied Darden's silent approach to this cycle. I'm beginning to think that if they like a candidate, and if he/she did their consortium interview with a Darden alum (be it on or off campus), and that interview went well, then Darden may not need an additional interview to admit.
This just makes the process that much more exciting because you may get the admit and the fellowship call (assuming they are your #1 choice) all at once! Talk about a heart attack in your inbox

Excitement is highest when uncertainty is also high. In a creepily sadistic sort of way, I love to hate the suspense of this process. High drama in dull places, haha.

Darden invite at 5:15AM PST today. Caught me off guard because I expected to hear from them on decision day; I thought they didn't interview. Now I have to try to figure out how to make my schedule work.......

I guess I've been considered a "lurker" but time to engage. First good luck to everyone on their interview invites. I applied to Darden, Carnegie Mellon and Emory from the consortium and I havent gotten an interview invite yet. I also applied to Booth and have an interview on the 21st. I thought that Darden didnt interview consortium applicants? Is it bad that I havent gotten an invite yet?

I have a dilemna/question. NYU has accepted not reviewing my application until they get my updated gmat score- which will be march 1st. Does this mean I am definietly out of the running for a fellowship?

Your best source of reliable answer is NYU Adcom---I will definitely reach out to them before it is too late. My 2 cents.

Much respect to you for going through the GMAT studying again! I hope you get the score that you want. I thought about taking it again too. I haven't sold my books yet.

With the Consortium meeting being on March 1st, it seems like it wouldn't be possible for you to get one but I hope not. You should email that admissions chair email for NYU (because I don't know if the people who answer the phones will know) explaining your situation to find out.

On another note, UCLA interview invites are going out I guess. I just got one this afternoon.

Yea, the invite came in a separate e-mail. I never received any login info from them, besides the generic thanks for your app.

As for the interviews, it seems like you can only interview at UVA? Well, that's the impression I got. As of 12pm PST today the only available interview times they have are Feb 22 (8am-11am),24 (8am-3pm) and 25 (8am-11am), if I recall correctly. Just wanted to give a heads up.

This is also my first time posting. I applied through the Consortium to UCLA, Cornell, NYU and Yale, and to Georgetown outside of the Consortium. I just got invites from UCLA (today), Cornell (yesterday), and Georgetown.

I am starting to lose hope with NYU, but at this point I don't really care. Good luck everyone, this wait has been and continues to be a journey!
