What perc of applicant does the adcoms interview?

They don't release that number. The majority of applicants self-initiate so it would be hard to tell how many are invited to interview.

Hi all - please add me to to the R1 (Nov) list. Completed a self initiated interview and awaiting results this Friday!! (fingers crossed for all!)

So, anyone taking bets on the Adcom making calls today? I still think it'll be Thursday before the calls begin. If you receive "the call", please post what time you were called and where you're located. I'm not sure there is a discernible pattern to the order in which the calls are made, but in the past, applicants have speculated that the calls are made alphabetically or by geography. Given the differences in timezone, geography seems to make the most sense to me. To clear up a couple of things, based on past posts, if you aren't called on the first day, it doesn't mean you were waitlisted/dinged. I think this is true even if they've begun making calls to other applicants in your particular time zone. Also, from what I can tell, it appears that calls often (though maybe not always) continue on Friday. That said, in most cases (unless they have bad contact info for you), admitted applicants receive a call from the Adcom. Good luck to all of our Nov.
