I am a jan round applicant from India. recieved an interview invite 4days back- video skype with a 2nd year student... any info on questions asked in such an interview??

Check the ClearAdmit Wiki. It's pretty comprehensive for interviews at all the schools. Here is the link to Tuck's:

minus the 5 admins, there are 116 members... i guess thats the number of admits for early and nov round.. and may be a few more who haven't joined yet!!

I'd be willing to guess that way more than 116 people have not joined the group because I don't think that between the early round and round one that only half of the class has been offered admissions? Even with a class of 240 they would need to accept more than 400 students to fill that class.

I hope there are just a few who did not join... and if we go by your stats, then we will have a lot more seats available for R2 applicants.. :)

So last year: Applications (admitted and denied) to the newest class: 2,528 with 20% acceptance = 505 w/ 54% of them accepting = about their class size (remember those who deferred)... so that's my point I do not believe that only 116 students have been admitted between Early Decision and R1 leaving about 380 students to choose from between R2 and R3? Sure there are a ton of people on the waitlist, but we know that getting off the waitlist at Tuck is not an easy feat. I say that all to say... don't go by the FB page.

Good Luck to you! I'm in the same boat you are! Also note that mixed in with the 116 students on that page are some current students who are not admins! ;-)

Right. The number of admits on facebook are too low. Number is higher.

Anyway, probably better not to worry about it anyway. It's all out of our hands. No use following.

Please dont forget to add others who are waiting for the moderators to confirm them for addition to the list.. I saw the list grow over time in EA.. So, lets all give it a week to see what the new numbers look like... I would love to see it not change.. WL from EA...

I'm not even going to become obsessed with it... there's no use. They could accept 1000 people to their FB page but if one of those people is not me then it doesn't matter lol. I'm purging my life of all of this worrying... it's out of my hands. I think I've submitted my best application so if they understand it and think that I fit with the class they're trying to compile then I will be thrilled! No use worrying

Exactly. Also, no use worrying about the waitlist because for the most part it's about 150-200 every year regardless of how many people report Wl's on GMAT club. Every year about the same percentage get accepted every round. EA - higher than 20%
R1 and r2 - about 20%
Later rounds less than 20.

Numbers don't change much.

Hey there, new to the forum and am on my cell so scrolling through past pages is tough! I applied R2 and interviewed mid Jan. Can I please ask someone to explain what the current situation is? What's next, when etc?

I was confident after my interview but maybe now that's false hope?

Also, I REALLY did not like my interviewer one single bit

You will hear something on decision day, the day before, or two days before. If the past is any indication of the future.

Did you interview with a student or adcom?

Graduating student. Whilst he was clearly fluent in English, his thick foreign accent made it difficult to understand and as a result my interview wasnt conducted in a free-flowing format.. Fingers are crossed!

One thing that threw me off big time was that he spent the last 5 mins talking about how graduates give back & donate to the school. Is that common?
