Any idea how many people cleared the waitlist last year or the year before that ? Any stats available around these ?

I would agree with SalarymanJ, little or none cleared. Tuck had a high yield last year. More people accepted than they had spots. ~30 or so acceptances were deferred to this year, technically reducing the spots available to this year's candidate pool. Whether last year's admits attend this coming year is the question. That will play a huge factor for this year's wait list. I have my fingers crossed.

Hi there - i did not receive a call on Thur/Fri like some of you, and was sincerely hoping for the WL at 5PM. I was shocked to find out that I was actually accepted when I clicked on my status. For some reason, I got overlooked during the call process :) - I also applied for scholarship money, but my letter of acceptance did not mention it. Does anyone know if that means that I was not granted any money?

I wish you all luck during the process - I know it's frustrating, because I have been rejected from my dream schools last year (and from Columbia ED as a re-ap this year). just don't give up :)

Received the admit call on Thursday. *Very* difficult decisions ahead...

For me, this admit was all about the self-initiated interview. The stars aligned and I was matched with a student of very similar interests/hobbies. The majority of my interview was spent discussing non-bschool related topics. This reinforces my belief that b-school applications are largely a game of chance.

Congrats on getting in!

Your letter of acceptance may not include your scholarship information. I was offered a scholarship but my letter of acceptance did not mention it (the admisisons officer notified me of the scholarship over the phone)...Now that you know you are in it is just a matter of having that akward er...you didn't call me but I was admitted and by the way did I get a scholarship? conversation :P

To all those who were not accepted or got WL do not give up (easier said than done but if you made it this far it says something about who you are and I am sure you learned a good amount through the process)! If you are in a position where you can apply and have a realistic chance of getting into Tuck, Fuqua, Darden, Kellogg, Columbia, etc. my guess is you are already in a pretty good place. Tuck gives great feedback if you do not get in and I know some people who have used that opportunity to strengthen their profile and reapply the following year.

Almost forgot, if you got in you should get your admitted student package next week. I assume the package will include scholarship information. You may want to wait to see if it has any scholarship information before you contact admissions.

Hi guys,

So this is how my status looks-
Submission Status: Submitted
Submitted Date: 12/30/2010

Application Status: Completed on 1/7/2011 3:12:00 PM

And i have not been dinged, waitlisted! And thats making me suspicious that because the app status says completed on 1/7 are they considering me for third round? The deadline for second round was 1/3. Any more people like me who have not heard anything from tuck - admit, reject, wl so far?

You are fine. You will be evaluated for January round. "Complete" simply means the date they verified that all of your information was included in your application. Mine is approximately the same.

In their website, they claim it's possible to be admitted without an interview. Is it indeed true?

that is possible but last years stats say that 100% of all admitted candidates were interviewed. check businessweek's tuck profile. It is just that they don't eliminate that possibility but prefer interviewing candidates before they are admitted.
