So I'm assuming that it is safe to assume at this point if somoene has not been invited for an interview that they will definitely receive a ding by Friday...

Sigh! How hard I was trying to phrase this in a more positive manner. :(

All,

It sounds like the email said decisions will be available March 11th. Is that the case? If so, then they are releasing decisions earlier than their anticipated deadline.

It seems as if some folks are expecting a decision next friday and others are expecting a decision this friday. Will someone please specify the date this email said that decisions will be available on?

Even I received this mail. Do such mails go out to everyone including potential rejects?

Was it the same routine in the previous round(s)?

yes

i also got the email from tuck just now saying that the results will be posted this friday the 11th. do you think that means that we will log in to see a rejection letter? i thought tuck was going to call all accepted candidates.

did everyone get this email? to the other people who received it, did you interview with tuck? self-initiated or admin initiated?

as for me, i just got this email and i had an interview that was initiated by tuck admissions, and it was with an alumni of the school. though i thought it went terribly.

thoughts anyone????!!!

I got that email as well. I had a self-initiated interview in Hanover in November. I'm hoping they have just made their decisions early and are emailing rather than calling! The email certainly just threw a wrench in my expectations!

Any idea on how many people do they usually admit in R3 since it is pretty late in the game IMO

Skipped a few heartbeats, re-read my application, went through the interview in my head, read the latest mail 5-6 times, read pages 86-88 on this forum a couple of times and still can't figure out what to make of this surprise from AdCom :( It's close to 1:00am in India and after a long day at work can't find the enthusiasm to look at this positively! I am not getting a good feeling but am tempted not to give up....(sigh!) Que Sera Sera...

I think I'm done overacting. I loved my visit at Tuck and it has been my first choice of schools for a while now. However, I've lost enough hair over this process. I'd be foolish to let myself lose any more from stressing. I'll just have to wait and see what happens now. And what sucks is that for every person who gets into this small population of very fortunate individuals there are several others who would love to be in that person's shoes. Many will be disappointed very soon. That sucks. Hopefully, I'm not one of them.

Agreed, take a chill-pill! The email means absolutely nothing since everyone here got one, and you shouldn't start worrying until Friday if you haven't received a phone call.

All -- I was admitted Rd 1, and received a similar email the week before, it means NOTHING. Please, I know that it's a very high octane moment in your lives, but don't try to see the glass half empty.

I got the email too. I was invited to interview twice (at tuck first and later in my country with a alum).
I suggest to chill and wait,
good luck to all

CWHS - lucky you - You already have admit to Stern and Tuck. Do you mind sharing which univ you are picking?
