I'd like to know a bit more about the scholarship essay as well. Is there a general GMAT/GPA cutoff line for that or does it merely depend on your scholarship essay?
Does anybody know whether Tuck still comments on weaknesses in applications of dinged candidates?

You can request the adcom for a feedback on your app in May-June(2011). Also if the adcom feels so, it will chose you for a proactive feedback session on your app but they do so only for 10% of all applying.

Update me for Round 1, not EA. My recommender has yet to submit his letter. Sigh. At least I can use the extra time to improve my essays further for November.

Have you tried reacing out to adcom and seeing if they can have flexibility on this issue? Maybe they will give you and extra couple of days...

Was at Tuck for an interview and adcom said that if your recommender is within a couple days of the deadline you should still be counted in EA. part of hte reason is it takes them a while to get everything organized/printed after the deadline so you may be able to slip in there. No guarantees, of course, but there is still a chance.
HI, When i was applying for EA there was a sudden power outage and as a result my application got delayed by 3 minutes. It got submitted by 5.03 PM EST. Wil this app be considered for EA? If they are not considering it for EA will they defer it to Round 1? In case they move it to round 1 will i get to edit my app?

I just woke up morning to read your messages and it's far too late to submit my essays now for EA. Thanks for the suggestions guys!
But no worries. I can give my recommender, who's already pressed with his traveling, extra time to write a rock-star LOR and I can meet with Tuckies to personalize my essays even further.
In for ER, too. I know that it's too early to hear anything back from the school yet, but does anyone have any idea an approximate timeline when things start rolling?
I have a question regarding the first essay question (goals, why MBA, why Tuck): How did you manage its size?
Probably that is the most important essay and there are lots of things to discuss there. On the other hand, the recommended average size of Tuck's essays is 500 words.

Good luck to you all!

Based on prior years, if you self-iniated the interview then things will get rolling two weeks before the deadline, at the earliest. Maybe only the last week. Interview requests can happen at any time during the round for those not self-initiating the interview.
Updated first post. Good luck to all applying for EA!

How did the interview go?

I couldn't get a good read. The interview was pretty casual, just asked me questions off my resume. Interviewer didn't take notes, so it seemed more comfortable. I was pretty nervous, so i'm not sure how much of that came across. Nothing really surprising or unexpected though.
Just need to ask a question ...whether Tuck interviews are only oncampus ? As it wont be possible for me to travel to Tuck so can i schedule my interview offcampus?
