Can you just drop in without an appointment to visit Tuck ?

Possibly. But why would you do that?

If for some reason you found yourself in Hanover you could stop by the admission office and see if they can find someone to give you a quick tour. If there are students around, you wouldn't have a problem finding someone to show you around.

However, I highly suggest emailing them and setting up an official visit. You'll get to meet more people, sit in on a class and get a detailed tour.

Hey does anyone know the recommender questions (or is it just a standard letter of recommendation)?

Couldn't find anything on the web site - sorry if I missed it.

Thanks!
Daniel

Count me in for EA too

I am almost half way through my Tuck essays. Still there is time left till the deadline, but I do not want to leave it till the last moment. Planning to finish Tuck and Duke essays by August end so that I can have them reviewed by my final reviewer.

Hi guys,

For international applicants, are you guys really going for a campus visit?

I would love to go to Tuck, but considering work schedules, it is going to be very difficult to make it.

It seems the adcom committee strongly recommends a campus visit. So, I am not sure whether I should apply to Tuck seriously. I love the school though and the small class size.

Any thoughts? Advice?

Internationals are not expected to come for a campus visit, even if it is a great opportunity to understand better the Tuck culture if you can do it.
The ADCOM will send you an invitation for an interview (in-person with an alumn or by phone) if they like your profile.

Does anybody know how the interview waitlist works? I'm on the waitlist and have no idea if it has a history of pulling people from it.

Can anyone shed some light on how the word 'limit'? The direction simply stated that on average, it's about 500 words, but says nothing in regard to a limit. How loosely attached is the word limit for Tuck? One of my essays is about 750 words, but I'm sure I can shed off a good 100 words. One is at 450. Thanks!

I heard them say something along the lines of "if it's 50 words, no one will notice, but if it's 200 words, it will be noticed, and you better have a good reason for it". Another comment was if you have to go significantly over the limit, is it something that can just be explained in the optional essay?

KC

without the schedule in front of me, I want to say that I'm at 11am; either that, or it's 10AM on Sept. 20th.

Hi All,

I have my interview on 9/28, along with class visit. I wanted to ask some questions to people who have already gone through the process:
- I live in south, so was thinking of flying to Hanover. However, the tix to boston are pretty cheap? Did anyone fly to boston or somewhere close by and drove to Hanover?
- Whats the best and cheapest option for staying close to Tuck?
- Any other advice that will help in interview?

Thanks in advance, I will surely post my debrief once I get back.

I self-initiated the interview and don't plan to submit until after I had my interview/class visit.
