Happy 48 hours! I agree that: a) uptick in EA apps / balancing last year's deferrals resulted in a longer review period (possibly still ongoing) b) "there will be no calls" is the company line -- it's a "quick kill" for those hunting for info / draining AdCom resources and discourages additional calls c) calls will go out tomorrow and Friday -- there is no way that Camp Tuck would be the lone institution amongst its elite peer group to notify acceptees online

I'd like to see it just online. It's fair, for everyone, no special treatments...

dying to hear as well. Tuck isn't the highest ranked program I'm applying to, but it's been my top choice for some time now. Not feeling very hopeful/confident though, no idea how i'd react if I hear some good news.

Let's think differently. Maybe adcom really meant it when they said there will be no calls this time round. That's because there is a HUGE TUCK COMMITTEE VISITING EACH AND EVERY ADMIT PERSONALLY TO DELIVER THE GOOD NEWS! How's that for personal touch and the famed Tuck culture? And this would probably set an innovative trend of delivering admission news by the elite schools. So instead of waiting for a phone call, let's wait for some knocking on your doors or a visitor to your office. The huge team is now on their way to visit every one of us, and some are on the planes to visit the international admits. So let's be patient ya! And by the way, it's good to drink some alcohol but not too much at this time. You wouldn't want to be drunk when the adcom is standing right in front of you with the admission package. I don't think they're going to call anybody this year. It's because they have been calling people year over year and yet the yield is in 50's. Just today vault published the 10 most depressing jobs which includes sales people making cold calls. I am surprised they didn't put b-school applicants in there. LOL.

I can't believe that! Calling an acceptee must be the best feeling -- especially if it's that candidate's first admit! AdCom spends all that time reading through apps and screaming at each other over candidates -- this would be a welcome pleasure. Nope, sorry -- I can't believe that AdCom gives up that light at the end of the tunnel tomorrow.
