I think it's closer to 2/3 that are interviewed are NOT accepted (other way around at UCLA)..Per the Businessweek profile, last admissions cycle, of 1,983 applicants, they interviewed 60% (~1,190) -- the acceptance rate is 22%

I am happy for everyone who got in, but I just wish that the decisions were rendered on Apr 1, as per the plan. That way, its less stressful for people who haven't heard yet. Now my heart rate will go up and down till next week.
Just my opinion, maybe I am stressing too much coz I really like the school. Oh well...

I was told by my interviewer that they were trying to get all decisions out before April 1st. I am assuming they wanted to release decisions early because Admit Weekend is a few weeks away.

This question was actually asked during my info session as many of us in the session were interviewees.

Was told specifically that they really don't do percentages. They take as many as they believe are qualified.

It looks like they aim for classes of around ~215 as smaller class size is something Marshall is about, but in terms of how many they interview, I could see this varying to a great degree.

Interviewed over Skype today with an admission committee member, standard questions mostly, the interview was quite short though and lasted some 20+ minutes. Some of the questions asked were:

a) Run me through your resume, highlighting your accomplishments.
b) What challenges you face in your current role?
c) What excites you at your present organization?
d) Why USC Marshall?
e) Share one of your challenging leadership experience?
f) How you handled a difficult situation when you were not the leader of the group?
g) Your failures?
h) Three words that your friend use to describe you.

A few more questions, and then she asked me whether I have any questions for her.

So my theory is that they meet in the mornings, then at about 2:30-3 start calling people who got accepted until its time to go home at 5.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

I'm just hoping that if they finish admit calls, they send out the WL and dings early too. Stressing like this until next week is going to take some years off.
