Deposits are due May 1.
According to the admissions person, acceptance packets went out yesterday (3 day priority shipping). Not sure if they're doing them in batches as per who gets the calls or if it was the whole shebang.

Edit: forgot to ask about scholarship. Sorry..

i literally just raced home after i read this to find...full-tuition scholarship!! so excited!! i got the call on monday and i live in LA, and i just received the package today..orientation starts july 25th

I really hope they aren't waiting until April 1st to tell people they were denied. If anyone got dinged, it would be helpful to let us know because the closer we get to April 1st the more nervous I get. Although i think if I got dinged, I wouldn't really want to share that.

The other thing that stresses me out is that I got into UCI but they want me to reply by March 31st! Anyone else in a similar situation? I sent a formal letter to ask for an extension but no word yet.

Yeah, am in a very similar situation. I paid the deposit and didn't ask for an extension. If I lose $1k, then I lose $1k. Not that much money considering the six figures it will cost to go to school.

So hang in there just as I will. I totally intend to indulge in all the personal vices( XBox) to keep my mind off this :)

I received the acceptance phone call on Tuesday and my packet came in the mail today. Sadly, no scholarship...
Like some others, I'm also in at UCI with $$, and that March 31st deadline is coming quick.

Thanks socalscool, I would very much like to go home and fine a full scholarship waiting for me... :roll: I'm a litttttle doubtful of that though... I'll let you know when that packet makes its way across the country!

I managed to get an extension for UCI. They said that it is very unusual to give extensions but I don't know if they were just saying that. I now have until April 7th. Plenty of time to hear from USC.

I'm in. Got the package in the mail without ever getting a call. Weird. Hope it wasn't a mistake.

Possibly matriculating, but most likely will attend Anderson if I am admitted.

I'm actually not really sure what the status change is referring to. When I log into my application on USC's website it says my application is in progress.

Ya. Thats the one. Other peoples' have changed once they get the phone call. But I just think the online status is secondary to all else.

Congratulations though! I'm in the same boat. But I'm waiting on USC and UCLA.
