Goodluck with Yale. I haven't heard from them. Since decision day is so close (Feb 24th), I have decided to plan for the worst. If I hear good news, I would be pleasantly surprised. If I hear bad news, I would be mentally prepared for it. I got three rejections this week and I didnt feel bad at all. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I've resigned myself to a Yale ding,...like you said w/ Feb.24 right around the corner looks like we're done. But I ranked them last, so i've heard they consider that. But it looks like you have some great interviews lined up. Congrats! Right now i'm 1 for 5 with interviews,...so I'm getting nervous. Haven't heard from Darden either and its looks increasingly like that may go the way of Yale.

I got the same email... my heart skipped the moment I saw Yale... only to find just like everyone else that it was just a marketing email.... I refuse to unscribe from them... maybe they track those who are still subscribed to them, and maybe they just have compassion :lol:

Anyways the wait is killing me... I just need to hear from them soon, otherwise someone is going to lose it...and it aint me..

Anybody know the protocol for withdrawing a business school app so late in the game? I actually am scheduled to interview with a school in the next couple of weeks but I am thinking about withdrawing my application entirely. How would one go about doing that???

correct - feb 21 by 9am (at least thats what it says on the portal as far as time goes) but some admit phone calls went out last night.

don't be discouraged... until they tell you "sorry" there's still hope and a chance!

Hey All

When I got my Johnson admit call in early Jan, I was told that I was also invited to their Scholarship weekend on March 10-11. Shortly after, I received a "Scholarship Weekend Save the Date" email. However, I have not heard a single thing about this weekend since. Its 3 weeks away, and I would have expected that they would have followed up with some sort of schedule, details etc. so that people could plan their way up there. Its coming up awfully soon (assuming I wasn't disinvited), and i'm getting worried that I havent heard aything more about it.

Has anyone else heard anything? Does anyone else know more about this weekend, and what exactly it entails?

I emailed UCLA a few days ago and asked what the deadline was for R2 Consortium applicants and ms. tan said it was the same as the all other R2 applicants...April 4th.

Doesn't Haas have another super saturday coming up in March? I'm assuming next week, CGSM apps my be a big focus for the adcoms at Haas because the have a little leeway with the general RD3 apps and decision dates... just an assumption... especially based on what Qwill said about the Feb. 10th threshold and the fact that they have to crank out truckload of interviews and decisions by March 1st.

I'm a Rd.1 Consortium applicant to Haas, just gave them a call and they said Rd1'ers "may be invited to interview all the way up to March and they do place people on the waitlist without having been interviewed."

If nothing else, that leaves me hope for a waitlist. They're ranked 4th on my list so it's unlikely I'd end up there anyways. But a waitlist would feel better than a ding, especially coming from such a competitive program.

If Haas told you they're inviting RD 1 Consortium to interview all the way up to March, but their website says decision notifications for both rounds will go out by March 1- which piece of information is the accurate one? They seem to contradict each other.

I think both are accurate. They're saying you MAY be invited to interview up to the decision date. I'm sure all schools would say the same. I think at this point, RD1'ers who haven't been interviewed, like me, can expect a waitlist or ding come March 1st.
