HA!! Well I don't want to get ahead of myself b/c I have no idea what the call was about but ya I don't think that I could turn down a Park Fellowship - plus Johnson already has my deposit. LA would certainly be nice though.

So I was accepted at Ross and Anderson after applying through the Consortium for rd 2 but did not get awarded the fellowship at either school. Does anyone know if that means I'm s.o.l. on the fellowship or is there still hope?

Yes, will still be a consortium member and will be attending OP. Park Fellowships are offered at very few schools and isn't just MBA (I believe), it is a Leadership Fellowship at Johnson that isn't minority related and requires Fellows to be very visible in the Johnson community and complete a service project during the 2 years. There is also a leadership development program that we'll undergo also.

Well, I was gonna stay off this forum today. Had just prayed and asked the Lord to please have someone call me and notify me tonight because I just didn't want to endure a weekend of mystery, then I got off work early, and went to bed (with my phone) to take a nap in preparation to work tonight. Was just relaxed enough to fall asleep, and the phone rang....812 area code. This is tricky because I live in this area code and have friends/family in this area code.

It was Jim Holmen from Kelley letting me know that I GOT THE CONSORTIUM FELLOWSHIP!!!! Loving it right about now. Now I'm sitting on 2 full rides. What a wonderful place to be!

I'm not sure. I do wonder if all the fellowships are not accepted, what happens to that money? Can it be given to those who accepted a were not offered? As we see on this forum several people have multiple scholarship offer and they can't take all of them...... Maybe worth asking the programs....

I just got a call from a UCLA rep and it was a little ambiguous on the question of whether I'd been awarded the fellowship. She actually said she couldn't be sure but I should know for sure in a week. Keeping my fingers crossed...
