LadyRoadWarrior
Question for all you prospective Tuckies,
In my application, I did not provide an expected interview date because I was not able to schedule until after submission, but I did in fact interview three weeks ago. Today I received the following note:
INVITATION TO INTERVIEW
Dear LadyRoadWarrior,
Thank you for your application to the Tuck School of Business. The Admissions Committee invites you to interview with us. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Please visit our Events and Interviews search page to select any open interview slot (with or without a class visit). Your interview must occur on or before Monday, February 13, 2012.
We look forward to meeting you on campus.
Warmest Regards,
The Tuck Admissions Team
What's your take?
A: Had I not self-initiated, this would have been my invite
B: Admissions has not matched my app to interview and I need to call to check
C: Something else
I would say send a mail because they can verify and reply. If you call them, it may be difficult for them to tell you an answer immediately. The worst (unlikely) case, you would've to travel to Hanover, but then you're in the US so I suppose that won't be that difficult?
Just spoke to Tuck Adcomm. Mix-up that they didn't see that I had already interviewed. Adcomm confirmed that there was no action needed on my part, and that it was an EXCELLENT sign that I was a US-based candidate invited to interview.
